Power Source: Two standard alkaline AA batteries or
optional MediSense rechargeable battery

Battery Life:
Battery performance is a combination function of how
often the meter is used and the duration time that testing
is conducted.
Alkaline Battery:
(2) cells 1.5 Volts, 2.4 Amp Hours typical
capacity
Rechargeable Battery Pack:
(2) cells 1.2 Volts, 1.1 Amp Hours
minimum capacity
Note: The MediSense Rechargeable Battery Pack can
be recharged for 500 full charge cycles. A
considerably higher battery cycle life can be
obtained if the Precision PCx monitor is placed in
the docking station at the end of each use.
